Master´s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering – Energy and Power Systems
15 years of experience in sales, and the last 10 in ABB Portugal – Low Voltage Division. Since May 2020 working as Sales Development Representative of Micafluid AG and responsible for publishing technical articles for media.
Since 2006 the General Director of Micafluid AG, Oil Purification Systems, Switzerland. In this position he is responsible for the marketing and sales activities for the oil treatment and regeneration business of formals ABB Micafil.
He was working thirty years for Micafil Ltd and ABB Switzerland. During his long-time experience in these companies he has held several positions such as, chief director for installation of transformer vacuum drying plants, design engineer for vacuum plants, area sales manager and finally product manager for the oil treatment plants. Andreas Gruber has a degree in technical engineering TS from Institute of Technology in Baden, Switzerland. Since 2007 he is a member of the CIGRE.
Paul Gonçalves joined the process automation team at Micafluid Switzerland in 2011. Since then he has come through the ranks and is now Director of Operations where manufacturing is being concentrated primarily in Portugal.
With a tertiary education in electrical engineering he started his career in transformer manufacturing at Siemens where he worked primarily in Production Engineering fifteen years ago. This period was fundamental in the transition to Micafluid as it allowed him to understand the needs of the industry.
After completing studies as a process engineer at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Zurich) in 2004, started as development engineer for vacuum technology at ABB Switzerland, Micafil. In 2005 managed the MBO of the ABB Micafil oil treatment and regeneration department and transferred it to the newly founded Micafluid AG. Since then have overseen the technical department as well as the research and development. From the beginning of 2020, also took on the position of CEO of Micafluid AG. In parallel, teaches process engineering, plant design and control systems at higher technical schools.
